This Resource Efficiency Opportunity assessment outlines the potential benefits to Tynagh Energy of using Greenbusiness to help manage their resources more efficiently. The site visit concentrated on the non hazardous waste arising from the facility and identified a range of recommendations with good associated potential benefits, including:

• Over €2,500 per annum of identified cost savings of with many additional savings possible
• Increased reuse and recycling of materials by rationalising recycling bins and improving related procedures
• Reduced use of energy through improved control of lighting in offices and conference rooms
• The use of filtered water instead of bottled water.
