Lakeland Dairies
Lakeland Dairies is the fourth largest dairy in Ireland. The site receives milk directly from farms to manufacture the following products:
• Minipots of milk and cream
• Tetrapak cartons of milk
• Frozen and liquid ice cream
• Butter portions
• Casein and whey powder
Improving Resource Efficiency at the Company
The company currently practices several environmental initiatives to improve the resource efficiency of its operations. This includes the delivery of sugar in bulk, which reduces the use of raw materials for packaging, reduces waste and reduces fuel use.
